      • The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet.

      • About me

My name is Lauren, and I received my Masters of Divinity at Emory University after double majoring in Film and Religious Studies (long story). In California, I served two small churches as an interim pastor and worked as a hospital chaplain.

To me, religion is a language describing what cannot be put into words. Whether you "speak" Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, agnostic or don't believe in a higher power at all, loss is a deeply spiritual experience. Often, pet grief feels that way. Maybe we can find the words together.

Just in case you've had a bad experience with the church (crazy, I know) and need to know I'm a person.
